LOCKABLE GAS SPRING TYPE U

Type U gas spring is lockable in only one direction. When the piston moves outward, the lock is rigid; when pushing the piston inward, it cannot be locked. When pushing the piston inward, the spring functions like a gas spring. Therefore, the spring can be installed without needing to release it when pushing the piston inward like a gas spring. Typical applications: monitor height adjustment.
