LOCKABLE GAS SPRING TYPE B

The piston of the gas spring can be locked steplessly over the entire length of the stroke. Type B spring with flexible locking when pulling outwards and pushing inwards. Release pushbutton’s movement range < 1 mm.

Operation:
In type B lockable gas springs the locking is reached by means of gas, and it is flexible in both directions. When the valve is closed, the spring can be locked at any position along the stroke length, but the locking is elastic. Depending on the force used, the locking yields, when the gas spring is locked. Even when the gas spring is locked, it provides comfortable damping in both directions.
